The Perfect Weekend

Oh, come on. You didn't think I'd let the whole day go by without gloating a bit over the game on Saturday, did you?

Let me just say that that win was absolutely beautiful. It was so much fun to watch it: they were ahead, they were behind, there were interceptions, injured players, turnovers, fumbles, big plays. Simply beautiful, exciting football. In case you're living under a rock, I'm talking about the #2 Big Game of the Weekend in which Wisconsin narrowly beat Purdue 20-17. Read about it here.

The weekend started out wonderfully with dinner at Vivo with some friends. Then Saturday was football, all day. And Craig and I exchanged gifts for our 2-year anniversary tomorrow. I got him this:




And he got me THE. BEST. GIFT. EVER:




Yes, my wonderful, fantastic, thoughtful husband bought me an air hockey table. I am the air hockey master! He's yet to win a game, but we've only had it two days now, so it's not saying too much. If you know me well at all, you know that this is right up my alley.

Then Sunday we relaxed, watched Man on Fire (ok, not great), had some friends over and ate the delicious cheesecake his co-worker made for us. I don't think I could ask for anything more. It was...
