Turning a New Leaf
Look here, I'm a happy person, dammit! And this here blog hasn't been very rainbows and sunshine as of late. We're gonna change that.
First, I want to thank Sarah for posting a sincere response
to my last post. Although I don't completely agree with her, I'm more than happy to entertain an educated joust of opinions about the election rather than the regurgitated drivel I'm reading about everywhere else.
And with that, I'm going to practice what I preach and move on from the election!
And onto my Beloved Badgers! 9-0, Baby! #4 in the writers and coaches poll (holds at #5 in the BCS). Not too shabby. Who knew that Johnny could throw?
Serving chili for 40 people at the church tonight. So, part of the weekend was consumed with purchasing supplies and donning an apron. Worst of all is I can now be classified as an official "Suburbia Wife": I now own an 18 quart electric roaster. Damn, I'm pathetic. Oh, and I made cornbread. I hope everyone likes it...but if they don't, I'm sure I won't get asked again...shoot, should have thought of THAT one earlier!
Started decorating for Christmast last night. We're having a Christmas party at our house the weekend of Thanksgiving and I want to have plenty of time to get everything settled. Some (ahem, Craig) call me crazy. I prefer inspired!
Deck the halls with boughs of holly, fa la la la la, la la la la!
