Prayer

The only thing that's gotten me through the last week, and two days more specifically.

"Lord, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,

The courage the change the things I can,

And the wisdom to know the difference."

Things are starting to settle down a bit. It's a huge relief.

This week I have fallen back on a prayer from Isaiah...

"Though young men faint and grow weary and youths stagger and fall, Marquette basketball players are men and they will kick Madison's ass this weekend."

Hope that helps.

Ditto what Craig said, except it's spelled blasphemy, honey.

He's a nice guy, folks, but he sure as hell can't spell.

Have the Badgers scored 91 points in any game this year?

Why, yes. Yes, they have.

95-89 Eastern Kentucky, 11/19

What has been the turmoil in your life? Hopefully, everything is going smoothly now.

I think it's pretty clear what the turmoil has been in her life...the Badgers have played a weaker schedule than Marquette (if that's even possible). And Cat, weren't those games women's basketball games?

No, smartypants, they were men's games.

I'm not going to talk smack. I gave my prediction. I defended my assertation. Leave me alone.

All will be settled on Saturday.

Game on...but since I am a numbers guy, I just realized something...Madison gave up 89 points to Eastern Kentucky? Not to mention, those 90 points were part of a Double Overtime game!!!

Do you know what conference Eastern Kentucky is in? I didn't either. They are in the Ohio Valley Conference.

I will give you that we did lose to Winthrop at home this year. But, their only loss is to #18, Alabama. And that loss was by only 3 points.

So we will see what happens on Sat. You have made your prediction, and I have made mine (obvioulsy the correct one).

I will get to you before Saturday.
