And the Walls Come Crumbling Down

As Craig and I were going through the house doing some deep cleaning in preparation for the appraisal, we came across a roll of film. Since we have only used the digital for the last two years, we knew it had to be old. And we had no idea what was on that film. So, I got the pictures back this morning and discovered that they were mostly of three weddings we attended between 3 and 5 years ago.

The first set were from our friends Chris & Jenn's wedding in October 2001.

The second were from my cousin Becky's wedding in September 2002.

The third were from our friends Mike & Fawn's wedding in October 2002 (the weekend before our own wedding).

Anyway, it's been a while and there were some great shots on the roll. Then, I started thinking about it. All 3 of these couples were married within the same year that we were. And here's the kicker:

I was literally driving to work and swearing at myself. What the hell is going on? Does that mean I'm next? ACK! GET ME OUT!

Hello fellow Milwaukeean! I found your site via uber-racist Eugene Kane's article where he mentions your blog. I'll be sure to visit again!

Well, you do have a set of "baby training wheels" that bark.

nicely put trent.
-5 points for every time you call them your babies
-10 points for each time you refer to yourself in the third person as mommy and daddy
+1K points for each time you think "man, it's a pain in the ass to come home early from drinking to let the dogs out" and then make the natural conclusion that kids would curtail your drinking even further.

BG has got it right, this puppy thing is a pile of work.

And yeah, we have had to ditch parties to come home early. And yeah, it really really sucks.

Yea, the Journal Sentinal would put your face on page 1 if you left those dogs in the car with the windows rolled down, imagine what would happen if it was!
