Officially "Old"

This is the first St. Patrick's Day in recent history that I haven't been drunk by noon for.

The good news is that I ran a 10 mile race this morning and did really well relative to my personal goal. The fact that I can say "I ran 10 miles this morning" is still a bit strange in my head. The 1/2 marathon in Madison Memorial Day Weekend should be a breeze. It's over two months away and only 3 miles longer, so I've got plenty of time to train.

As I try to recover from the run, though, drinking hasn't been high on the priority list. I'll likely have something with dinner tonight and I AM watching March Madness, but I feel old.

I don't call that getting old, I call that kicking some ass. Nice work on the 10 mile race!
